They fund ground breaking research into heart health across the nation but especially in Cambridgeshire with large sums of money being spent on research projects at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge University and Anglia Ruskin University. The BHF also fund community heart nurses and provide resources that add value to local groups in your community."
In the KEYNOTE SLOT, we have Tamsen Garrie, author of ‘The Act Of Attraction In Business’, who is best known for the significant transformation she makes with businesses and business people through her unique approach to business growth, where she combines sound business acumen with a deep understanding of how the mind works to effect extraordinary business results. Ditching a successful HR and management career in the Oil & Gas and Investment Banking industries in 2002, Tamsen moved to Melbourne, Australia where over 4 years, she re-trained in Psychology, Clinical Hypnotherapy and Conflict Resolution. Moving back to the UK in 2006, Tamsen set up her own private practice which she took from start-up to an associate model within 12 months. She later joined the board of a small aspiring business network in the South West of England and over 18 months, developed the infrastructure, including the leadership team, processes, systems and training to enable its growth into national business that it is today. Her experience working with hundreds of businesses, training numerous leaders and developing numerous teams has resulted in a thorough understanding of the many challenges that are familiar to business owners and managers. This coupled with her engaging communication style and her ability to work with all types of people makes her uniquely placed to work with businesses to develop the vision, the mind-set, the behaviour and plan to create personal and business success.
